E-MIGRATE SERVICES FOR NON-SEAFARERS
The Repair Technicians, Surveyors and Ship Security Staff placed on board foreign flag vessels who are not the regular crew of the vessel and may be referred to as Non-Seafarers.
For safety at sea of Seafarers, Directorate General of Shipping made it mandatory that any seafarer crossing Immigration check points to join the vessel whether in India or abroad must be in possession of Emigration Clearance Certificate issued by the approved RPSL or E-migrate agency.
Lascar Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. is authorized by Seamen’s Employment Office Mumbai, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India to use E-migrate system vide letter no: MMDMUM-14011(15)/58/2023-SEO/923/2023, hence facilitates E-migrate services to those entities who are neither Ship Owner nor RPSL and do not have access in the said E-migrate system.
We always ensure that the labor and social standards applicable for such persons ashore are protected including appropriate Insurance cover. We also ensure that the living and working facilities provided to these persons on board will not be at the cost of the facilities being provided to the regular officers and crew of the vessel.
